Scenic Views and Coastal Charm

Chichoulet Port (Port du Chichoulet) is a favourite among locals for its peaceful atmosphere and unspoilt coastline. When we first made the drive from Saint-Pierre-La-Mer to the port, we were completely taken aback by our journey through stunning coastal landscapes.

Unexpectedly, the road wound through expansive saltwater lagoons and tranquil wetlands. By the time we reached the port, it felt like we had discovered a hidden retreat far removed from the bustle of everyday life.

Another surprise was that this little marina is also known as a local fishing and shellfish port.  Alongside the harbour (Avenue du Port), it was lovely to discover local wholesale businesses selling shellfish, seafood and fish direct to the public via their sales kiosks and in the handful of restaurants that line the quay.
