To access Narbonne Plage, several options are available to you:
By Car: Take the A9 motorway, exit Narbonne Est, then follow the direction of Narbonne Plage. It will take you around 20 minutes from Narbonne. Several free car parks are available along the beach or near the port.

By Bus: Take line 8 of the Citibus network, which connects Narbonne to Narbonne Plage, with departures every 30 minutes in summer. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. The price is 1 euro per ticket or 10 euros per book of 10 tickets.
By Bike: Take the cycle path which runs along the Robine canal, then the Clape canal, to Narbonne Plage. It will take you about 1 hour from Narbonne. Bicycle rental terminals are available in Narbonne and Narbonne Plage.

On Foot: Follow the footpath which follows the same route as the cycle path, crossing the Narbonnaise en Méditerranée natural regional park. It will take you around 3 hours from Narbonne.
Narbonne Plage offers you a variety of services to make your stay pleasant and comfortable:

4 First Aid stations open from mid-June to the end of August, which provide swimming supervision and First Aid if necessary.
Public toilets (not on the beach), showers and lockers located near the First Aid stations, to allow you to freshen up and store your belongings safely.

Equipment rental such as parasols, deckchairs, mattresses, surfboards, paddles, kayaks, jet-skis, boats, etc., to fully enjoy water activities and relaxation on the beach.
Restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, snack bars, bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies, boutiques, etc., which offer you a wide range of products and services to eat, hydrate, entertain and troubleshoot.

At Narbonne Plage, safety is a priority as well as respect of the natural environment:
Swimming supervision is provided by SDIS11 lifeguards, from June 12 to September 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You must respect the flags, authorized or prohibited areas, as well as safety instructions.
Narbonne Beach is accessible to disabled people thanks to the Handiplage system, deployed from July 1 to August 31, at First Aid station no. 2, near Karantes beach. Amphibious chairs are available to you free of charge, as well as personalized support.

If you come with your pet, please note that they are allowed provided they are kept on a leash and dog waste is picked up. There is even have a 150 linear metre dog beach, near the Créneau Naturel car park.
The beach is designated tobacco and vaping free over an area of 200 linear metres, near Karantes beach. Beach ashtrays are distributed free of charge to smokers to avoid throwing cigarette butts on the sand.
Finally, Narbonne Beach is eco-responsible thanks to awareness, prevention and cleaning actions carried out by the city, associations and users. We ask you to respect the cleanliness of the beach, to sort your waste, and to avoid polluting products.
